Refugee children in Burundi receive help from ROPE.
"A cord of three strands is not easily broken" (Eccl 4v12)
We need to raise at least £90,000 each year to do all the essential things that keep ROPE running well. This includes administrative costs but, more importantly, funds for the development and growth of the work which may include other ROPE Centres around the UK and the expansion of our ROPEholder groups around the world.

Put simply, Friends of ROPE make it possible for ROPE to give 100% of all donations to aid projects in the field.
They do this by covering the work and costs of the essential infrastructure of ROPE - those activities and expenses that ensure that:
As a Friend of ROPE, you will be playing a vital role in helping to make the work of ROPE possible.
ROPE's vision is to tackle the terrible effects of oppression by direct action to help the poorest of the poor around the world, particularly where no other aid is available.
Through direct aid and support of sustainable development, ROPE acts in response to God's love for the poor, demonstrating His love and compassion at grass roots level.
We do this through the following three key groups of people:
Many Friends of ROPE support by making a commitment to give regularly to the Friends of ROPE charity.
Others give larger sums on an ad hoc basis.
All of them make the work of ROPE possible.
In visiting this page we are asking you to become a Friend of ROPE.
People who give directly to fund life changing projects around the world
Many people also work as volunteers in the UK, helping us to operate ROPE in a variety of ways - from administering the orphans programme to setting up and staffing ROPE stands at festivals and events.

ROPEholders are volunteers who have chosen to spearhead aid projects in their own countries. There are some 100 groups based locally in 80 countries around the world. Being nationals of the country they work in, they have excellent local knowledge.
They work with us to reach and help the 'poorest of the poor'.
Through them, we are able to provide loans, practical help and direct aid.
