Working through a network of national and Christian volunteer 'ROPEholders', changing the lives of individuals who have few other options for survival. 100% of gifts for ROPE go for the benefit of the poor, enabling transparency in our UK overhead costs which are met by a separate fund 'Friends of ROPE'.
ROPE has formed a partnership with Samaritan's Purse who are already active in responding to the Haitian disaster. Any gift given through ROPE will be passed to those working in Haiti to assist with the programme of medical care and water provision. The team is working with national partners, Baptist Haiti Mission, at their 100-bed hospital twenty miles from Port-au- Prince, the capital of Haiti. Please send your gift by post to ROPE - Haiti Appeal, Fairway House, Rear of 64-66 High Street, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, HP16 0AN.

In response to God's love for the world, ROPE's vision is to address the terrible effects of oppression, helping the poor around the world, through practical and sustainable direct action. Our mission is to inspire compassion for the suffering of the poor around the world, converting compassion into hope and hope into direct action through personal giving, to reach and change the lives of individuals who have no, or few, options for survival. ROPE is a volunteer charity currently working in numerous countries through a network of partnerships (ROPEholders), providing grass roots support for widows, orphans, refugees, the sick, the homeless and the unemployed. At ROPE nothing is deducted for UK administration or expenses, thus 100% of gifts go for the benefit of the poor. UK administration costs are met by a separate fund: 'riends of ROPE'.
