General leaflet

This explains clearly and simply what Rope is about and how we work. The General Leaflet is ideal to distribute at a service or meeting to introduce new people to Rope and also enables them to make a direct donation if they want to. (Free)

 

 

 

Friends of Rope leaflet

This explains how individuals and churches can support Friends of Rope, enabling 100% of gifts given to Rope to be used directly for our work with the poor. (Free)

 

 

 

 

 

Introducing Rope pack

This is ideal for a minister or church leader who wants to know more about the work of Rope. It is full of all the essential information about the organisation, which any church leader would need to consider when choosing a new organisation to support. (Free)

 

 

Church pack

This is intended to provide everything a church will need to organise a Rope Sunday – sermon suggestions, children’s activity, Bible study, a guide to organising  a simple church meal, a quiz and a DVD showing Rope’s work in South Africa.  If you want your church to be informed and take action to help the poor, order this pack now. This eight minute DVD was filmed in South Africa showing projects funded by Rope supporters. The DVD gives a clear insight into the lives and problems of poor people living in townships around Capetown. (£3)

Speakers and Church visits

Rope has a number of speakers who are willing to visit Churches and groups of all sizes. For churches wanting to organise a Rope Sunday, we have a number of experienced speakers who are happy to preach at main services. We are always happy to advise churches wanting to organise a Rope Sunday and are willing to give any support that might be required.

Rope in Uganda DVD - Good Hope School

This four minute DVD was filmed in Kampala, Uganda focusing on the Good Hope School funded by Rope supporters. The DVD gives a clear insight into the lives and problems of the pupils and their families. (£3)

Rope in Uganda DVD - Groundnut Project

This four minute DVD was filmed in Katakwi, north-east Uganda focusing on a groundnut project funded by Rope supporters. The DVD gives a clear insight into the issues and poverty faced daily by the villagers and how this project is beginning to create long-term sustainable change for the community.

Legacy leaflet

This leaflet is ideal to distribute at a service or meeting to help people to consider what they will leave behind when they pass on and to inform people about the importance of leaving a legacy to Rope. (Free)

Legacy pack

This pack provides information as to why it is important to write a will, things you need to consider when writing your will and when considering leaving a bequest to charity.
