We are happy to designate your donation to a specific purpose (for example, work with children or the elderly). We are also pleased to accept gifts in any currency.

Tax efficient giving

If you are UK tax payer, any gift you make to Rope will allow us to reclaim Gift Aid. You don't need to make any long term promises; even a single payment gift qualifies. There is no upper or lower limit on the size of the gift. Rope will benefit from an additional 25 pence for every £1 you give at NO COST TO YOU! click here to download the form. Please remember to notify us if your situation changes and you no longer pay enough tax for us to reclaim the gift aid.

Legacy

Have you made a will? If not you should. Not only is it wise for the sake of your family but it also allows you to ensure that you are able to give a legacy to the charity or charities of your choice. A legacy to Rope will be a means of helping people trapped by poverty to have new hope in their lives. Do consult a lawyer when making a will. They will advise you how to include a bequest to Rope in the most effective way. For more information click here

Payroll Giving

Payroll giving is a simple way of giving to Rope on a regular basis directly from your gross salary i.e. before any tax has been deducted. All you need to do is talk to your payroll department (as long as they use PAYE) to set it up for you and tell them how much you would like Rope to receive every month directly from your pay. The benefit to you is that you can gain instant tax relief on your donations of up to £5 for every £10 given so it costs you less to give Rope more. For example, if you are a basic rate tax payer (20%) the immediate tax relief means that a gift of £10 will cost you only £8 and for a higher rate tax payer (40% tax) it only costs you £6, and those on 50% tax, it only costs you £5!
