Our PartnersMeet a few of our Change Makers Samuel in Uganda Read more Youth Action Uganda (YAU) Samuel became a victim of the long running civil war in Uganda after his wife was killed by militia, leaving him to bring up 4 young children alone. YAU was born out of his desire to change the prevalent culture of violence and transform lives. Over 15 years Samuel and the team have worked with 1,000 internally displaced people. Through the simple act of growing groundnuts these farmers are now living successful, healthy and peaceful lives. Elizabeth in Chad Read more FEEEJ From a very early age, Elizabeth was called by God to work with young people, taking up her first youth leadership role when she arrived in the capital in 1984. She began FEEEJ in 2007, with support from Rope. Her heart is that young people will know that Christ is a real, living and loving presence in their daily lives and in a country with limited hope and opportunity for young people Elizabeth’s ministry has led many to develop into leaders within their own church and community.
