A message to our valuable supporters.
In response to the current COVID-19 virus situation I am writing to let you know that Rope has had to make changes at our UK office.
At this time our offices in Amersham are now closed and the staff team are working from home. We are so grateful to God that last year we took the decision to resource staff to be able to home-work and so we are able to access all the office files and are regularly using teleconferencing tools, which enables us to keep in touch with each other and with our partners.
Rope can be contacted in the usual way by phoning the office number or email.
In this time of uncertainty, we want to assure you that we will continue to support and work with our partners. While we’re unable to travel to other countries, we will continue holding regular virtual meetings with partners to extend our support and to monitor the situation and make necessary adjustments. We are already aware of many experiencing the same severe restrictions as ourselves.
Over the following days and weeks we will be posting updates of our partners’ response to the situation on our social media channels. If you are not following Rope on Facebook, please can we ask that you do this, so we can keep you up to date. Here is a link to our Facebook page.
Our commitment to the safety and protection of our partners and the vulnerable adults and children they work with remains our number one priority.
We know that you would want us to continue in this way but on a personal level I want you to know that we pray for God’s protection over you and your family during these difficult and unprecedented times.
Take courage and take heart for God is with us
With best wishes,
Andy Jong CEO
