What we believe We believe the overwhelming love and compassion of Jesus brings dignity and hope, enabling forgotten and rejected people living in poverty to realise their God-given potential. We believe that wherever people experience Rope they will recognise the values we live by. Building relationships and showing compassion: At the centre of all we do is our relationship with and love for Christ and from this relationship grows our love and compassion for others. We seek His will in all areas of our work and develop relationships that not only lead to full restoration but also honour God. We love and value all who work with us - beneficiaries, supporters and partners - as we know that it is only in cooperation and partnership that we will maximise the impact of our work. Helping people achieve dignity: We affirm the dignity and worth of all those we come into contact with, recognising that we are all made in the image of God and are part of one family. This affects our decisions and underpins our desire to show solidarity with those affected by extreme poverty and marginalisation. Working with integrity: We desire to be honest and open in everything we do so that people know what to expect from us. We strive to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us. We seek to be accountable for our actions, to be willing to acknowledge our mistakes and to learn from them in order to continually improve.
